Who are we?

A FAMILY BUSINESS

We are located northwest of the city of Leticia, capital of the Amazon in Colombia. For more than 15 years we have been developing tourism activities to serve national and international visitors. Our tours take place on the Yahuarcaca micro-basin, a unique place in Leticia with a great biodiversity. The Yahuarcaca is made up of brooks and a lagoon system where many indigenous communities live.

We are a tourism operator agency with RNT 10949, of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism also affiliated to the Chamber of Commerce of the Amazon. We are a family company, and have been residents in this beautiful corner of the country, since the end of the 80s. We believe that tourism is one of the greatest values of our tropical forest, tourism is a great stimulus for the preservation of this great ecosystem.

We see tourism as a respectful way of preserving the Amazon. We provide unique experiences of direct contact with nature.

Where are we located?

Yahuarcaca

The Yahuarcaca is a lagoon system composed of a stream and eight lakes. These are of dark colored waters similar to the color of tea, filled with an immense wealth of fish, according to local studies with a potential of 450 species within only 15 km of this micro-basin. The lakes are inhabited by the famous piranhas and the beautiful pink dolphin and their young calves, which thrill more than one with their sporadic outings to take air with their small jumps on the surface of the lake.

There are more than 100 species of resident and migratory birds, among the residents stand out the aquatic ones: Herons, ducks and cormorants, terns, cienagueras eagles, and fisherwomen. Among the migratory birds are the Canadian ducks, and the earwigs. You can also observe some species of monkeys, the titi-leoncito, the smallest in the world, boquileches, the monk friar, and the nocturnal aoutos monkey. We also find spiders, turtles, anacondas, and aquatic snakes that make this area a privileged place for visitors.

Our guides, native people, full of knowledge transmitted from generation to generation, with their ancestral culture, their idiosyncrasy and humility will make your tourism feel the Amazonian warmth. These guides, through the activity of sustainable tourism, hope to preserve the Amazon for their descendants.
