Description
The Yahuarcaca stream, along with its lakes and channels, is home to an incredibly diverse variety of fish. These dark waters, rich in food and lush vegetation, offer visitors a great opportunity to catch one of the many species, the most notable being: pirarucu, piranha, peacock bass, pacu, gamitana, sardines, bocachico, carahuasú, the electric eel, and stingray. Additionally, ornamental species such as arawana, discus, and angelfish can be found. The activity is carried out by boat or canoe, depending on the visitor’s choice and the water level.
